CONFESSION TIME

When I first started this blog I wanted to post every single day....alas I have fallen by the way side.  I had a most HORRIBLE, WONDERFUL, AWFUL WEEK LAST WEEK.  Let me explain.....

First the wonderful....My son turned 16....What, wait a minute....but he was in kindergarden yesterday...I am excited and happy about this.  I am very proud of my son.  He is a very handsome young man and a christian!!! A mom could not ask for more.  Now on to the horrible:  My basement flooded.  It took me 3 evenings to get the water out.  We worked on it after I got home from work in the evenings.  No wonder I am so tired.  Next week is Bible School and I plan on sharing a little of what is happening each day.  Anyways, Blog World I am back!!!!!

this is my home sitting way up on a hill.   You would not think that it would flood.  Guess when it pours the water has to go somewhere......I am very blessed and thankful that I have a basement and a good home.  So much devastation all across the US lately.  Prays go out to all the families.

Father's Day Hunting Owl

And finally here he is....drum roll please......the new hunting father's day Owl!!!!

I know, I know---he is so cute.  don't you just love his eyes.  He is also made with the Provo Craft Cricut Expressions Machine,  (well pattern from that anyways).  He is  perfect for that little tom girl or even for a little boy that wants a small pillow on his bed.  I wish that I had made a small bow and arrow for him.....hmmmm...might have to do that to give him more character.  Thanks for visiting my blog and again I love followers and comments.    See below for the parties that I am linking to.   So Sad, I was not able to get up at 4:30 am this morning and link soooo I will be linking this afternoon.

Lollipop Owl

This little owl reminds me of a lollipop. She is also packaged and ready for the upcoming craft show.  Now you have seen almost all of my owls.  They are made from a pattern that I made using the Provo Craft Cricut Expressions Machine and one of the Owl cartridge.  Of course I had to alter it some but I think that the owls have turned out so cute and they seem to be very popular with the children.  Please feel free to leave a comment and follow the blog.  The eyes are made with the Sizzix Circle Die.  Thanks for visiting!

Orange U Glad I'm an Owl!!!

This lil ol orange owl is a one of a kind owl.  I made him from a little girls sweatshirt.  See the cute little stars on her ear?  Anyway she is packed up and ready for the next craft show.  We have a few more owls joining the Great Owl Party, so stick around for the next few days.  Please consider following this blog and Comments are always welcome.

Used the Provo Craft Cricuit Machine to cut out this pattern.  I will show more details on how the pattern was actually made a little later on.  The Sizzix Circle Die was used in the Big Shot Machine to make the eyes.  The stars in the center of the eyes was taken from a little ballerina skirt that had stars on the end of it.  I think that they made the perfect eyes for this little one, don't u?  I used the cartridge that you see advertized by Amazon below to cut the pattern starter from the Provo Craft Cricuit Expressions Machine.  Thanks for stopping by!!!

Lil Ol Plaid Owl

Sorry that this little owl is all scrunched up...but.... he is getting ready for a craft show that we have coming up.  He was made from the Cricut Pattern that I adjusted and made using the Cricut Owl cartridge.  See the ad from Amazon below.  This is the cartridge that I used.  Made some tweaks to it and then got right to work with the help of my dear Mother.  His eyes are made using the Sizzix Circle Die and the brads are from Michaels.  Hope that you enjoy the different owls.  I LOVE COMMENTS!!!! I am linking up to a few parties today, am a bit late in doing this but I guess better late than never.  Camera did not want to cooperate this morning before work.
