This is a flower that I made using an old newspaper. I don't remember where I got the idea from or who's blog I was looking at, but it is a really neat idea. I took 5 scalloped circles and punched a hole in them and put a brad thru the center. Then I scrunched them up a lot and pulled them back apart and shaped them the way that I wanted them to look. |
Hi Robin: My, that flower is pretty! And I love that it is inexpensive to make. I saw a flower a little bit like this at Mr. Goodwill Hunting's blog, and he uses them made out of fabric, ribbon? as lapel pins for men's clothing, which I thought was a cool idea.
