MCCR - Theme Day Thursday Fire and Ice

This is my Design Team post for My Cricut Craft Room

For our MCCR DT post today we were asked to create something for fire and ice.

This is what I came up with:

I took a simple heart frame from Michael' that cost a $1.

I cute my cute lil ole Eyeore out at 3" and all of his layers.

I used fabric dimensional paint to put the " U melt my "
on the frame.

I think that he is very cute!!
Don't you?

Love your comments...They melt my "heart"  tee hee.

MCCR - WYEGW - Heart Feature

This is my Design Team post for My Cricut Craft Room

Today we were asked to use a heart feature or border for  our MCCR DT post.

I love to make pieces that I can use later on projects.

I used the Love Struck 2010 and cut the shadow out in red at 4" then I cut the other heart out in white at 4".

The white cut is so delicate!

I think that they turned out beautifully.  I have not decided where I will use them but I am thinking on a picture frame for valentines day.

I have some really cute cards to share with you today.  My mom brought them to me at church tonight.
My dad's uncle's wife made them.
Carol, they are great!!!!

Thank you so much!

I love them.

Now I am only guessing but I think that they are made with a die cut machine like the Big Shot.  They look like Sizzix Dies.

If you are reading this Carol leave me a comment or shoot me an email and let me know how you made them.
First is the Owl- my favorite.

Next up is the little Scottie dog.
Love the paper she selected!

And last but not least is this adorable little puppy dog.

Carol, you have inspired me!! :)
I have got to get to crafting and using my Sizzix dies that I have.
You wouldn't believe it if I told you how many that I have bought and never used....:(.

Well, all that is gonna change.  I am challenging myself to start using all the stuff that I have.  I am setting some goals for myself for this year and that is one of them. I will share more about that later.

If you have crafting stuff that you have accumulated over the years and never used.....leave me a comment and lets challenge each other to use our awesome craft supplies!

MCCR Card Creating Tuesday

This is my Design Team post for My Cricut Craft Room

Today we were asked to make thank you cards for  our MCCR DT post.

I am currently working on stuff for a baby shower.
I thought that it would be nice to have thank you cards on hand for the new mommy.

I cut the card from the New Arrival at 3".
I layered the inside with white paper to make the word pop.

I'm not sure how many of these that I will make, but I am sure that anyone that receives them will think that they are sooooo cute!

WYEGW January 2, 2013- various fonts

This is my Design Team post for My Cricut Craft Room

Today we were asked to use various fonts on our MCCR DT project.

I cut The K at 6"
The T at 2"
The C at 4"

I used double stick tape to tape them to an old picture frame glass.

Then I used fabric spray to coat the glass.

I wish that you could tell how really cool this looks.  Pictures are just not the same.
I peeled the letters off and have empty space where my daughters initials are. Now she can put all kinds of different backgrounds and it will look really neat.  She is tickled to death with it.

lime green and neon orange are two of her favorite colors.

Thanks for stopping by and hanging out for a bit.
