Here is my project for this hop...I really have a hard time working on Christmas stuff with Easter coming up. I decided to make a tag.

I used some scraps that I had left over from Christmas.

A little dimensional fabric paint....

hand drew the facial features.

I think that she is cute but not exactly what I had envisioned   My husband said that she looked yummy and would go really good with some peanut butter fudge...lol.  Now that is a hint.

Now please hop on over and see what kind of craftiness Sheila has been up to for Christmas in February!

MCCR - Festive Card creating Tuesday

This is my Design Team post for My Cricut Craft Room

For our MCCR DT post today we were asked to create a Festive Card that was Embossed.
This is what I came up with:

I used page 71 and cut the card and sleeve at 4".
This was the first time I have used the Artiste Cart.

Here is the card with the sleeve on it.
I put a little bit of stickles around the little heart on the sleeve.

I used an embossing pen to write and then used the embossing gun to make it sparkle and shine.

Thanks for stopping by.

Now on to my project...
I decided to make a picture frame for my daughter.
Her favorite colors are lime green, neon pink, and orange.

As you can see I used the green and orange for this project.
I started with a simple $1 picture frame from Michaels.

I cut the flowers using my Big Shot and the Spellbinders Shapeabilities.
I put a jewel in the middle of the bigger flower that was wrapped loosely.

I used puffy Paint to make my neon green butterfly dots.

The butterflies are from the EK success border punch.  I just used the butterflies left out from the border.

I hope that you have enjoyed my valentine project and leave me some bloggy love. :)

I have listed the entire lineup below in case you get lost along the way.

Now lets hop on over to see what MELISSA has in store for you!
