Michele's 1st Blogaversary Hop

Hello and welcome to Michele's first blog hop in honor of her 1st year of blogging! I am so excited to join Michele and the other hoppers in this fun celebration!!!

Michele's Craft Room has an amazing "present" up for grabs ~ all you have to do is visit each of the blogs below, become a follower and leave a comment. A winner will be chosen on Wednesday 1/2/13!

What an awesome "present" Michele is giving away!!! If you have stumbled upon my blog by accident, please click here to start at the beginning.

You should have arrived from An'Jenic's blog.

This is my project to share with you for this blog hop.

This is a snowman hand print of one of my granddaughters.

We painted her hand white with acrylic paint.  Had her to hold the bulb in her palm and then press her fingers up around the bulb.  Being very careful not to wiggle her hand.  She did such a great job!!

The name and year is written with Tulip fabric paint and then I sprinkled Martha Stewart flocking over it and used a hair dryer to dry it a bit.

This is the view from the bottom.

Jennifer decorated the snowmen.  We made two.  One for Nana and one for the Mommy.  :)

This is something that I will cherish for years to come.  I will have more to share with you later.

Now you can hop on over to the talented  Tabetha!

MCCR Christmas Share post 2012

Today for my project at My Cricut Craft Room we were to share some family Christmas photos.

This is my lil crafter.  She loves owls.

She does enjoy a bit of posing. :)

I think we are getting ready to take up soccer!

Daniel with his speaker T-shirt that he has wanted for a while now.
(no snow in the background of the window :( )

We were blessed by having Wes, Jennifer, and Maci spend the night with us.  Santa found Maci again!

Hello Kitty is always a hit with Maci! She loves cats.

Daniel with his magnetic guck...anyways that is what I think it is.
Looks like an alien to me.  This stuff is so cool.  It looks like it is hard as a rock but you can poke holes in it. It will bounce like a ball and then you can hit it with a hammer and it will shatter.   ( I will share more about this in later posts!)

Only my son would request certain foods for Christmas!!!

My daddy with his computerized Bible.

Yes the bike horn works!! (outside toy please!)

My mommy

Dear brother passing out the gifts.

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!!
We celebrated with a morning worship service at our church.
Korea Church of God.

On a side note....my son scored a 33 on his ACT!  Very proud of you Daniel!

Kaitlyn and Evelyn worked really hard on their train today.

Of course they had to try some of it while it was in the making.

I think that it turned out really good.  Don't you?

Here they are making some Christmas Crafts!

And I finally got my tree up today.
Now I just have to put some ornaments on it.

I use an old quilt that my grandmother made as my tree shirt.

I had to rescue it from my dad because it was raggedy and he was supposed to throw it away for her years ago.  I love it.  It's got great memories and character.

MCCR Count Down To Christmas - 8 Days

8 days til Christmas
This is my design team post for My Cricut Craft Room.

Can you believe it?  Only 8 more crafting/shopping days until Christmas.
Are you ready?

Wonder what Santa and Mrs. Clause is doing?

Well at our house....Mrs. Clause has washed up Santa's cloths and hung them to dry.

This Santa outfit was cut at 4".  I used Tulip Slick dimensional fabric paint to make my white puffy cuffs.
Just use what you have on hand.

Even his boots are hung to dry.

I think that I am going to hang this on my tree.

We all posted sneak peeks this time for our team.
This was my sneak peek.

I have been on a tag sort of kick lately.

I really need to make cards but just can't seem to bring myself to doing it.
Maybe for the next project.

I hope that you have enjoyed my lil ol project.
I used a punch that I picked up from Wal mart in the kids craft section for my butterfly.
The mushrooms are from a kit to make a child's wall hanging.

I have decided that I will give one lucky commenter and follower a mushroom set.
I can't wait to see what you make with it.  I have had lots of fun with my sets as have my Sunday School class.

Just sign up to follow my blog and leave me a comment that you did.
I would love to hear what you would make with this if you win.

Click here to see another project that I made with one of these kits.

Now make sure to head over to Melissa's Blog Next.

Here is the full line up just in case you get lost along the way.

Theme Day Thursday - Perky Lil Pengium

Today my contribution is a bit strange....
Notice anything different about my
PENGUIN???

That's right!! He is opposite!

Instead of the black sheep of the family he is the white penguin of the family!
He is an ornament that I made using Create a Critter 2.
I cut him at 3 inches.
His beak and feet are orange stickles
I put green stickles for his eyes but they did not show up very well so I covered them with pink jewels.
His scarf and hat is decorated with a snow writer.

I hung him up on my calendar memo board.
Let's see how long it takes Kaitlyn to spot him.
Then we will put him on our Christmas Tree.
For more inspiration click here to go to My Cricut Craft Room.

So what do you think?  Cute or Not Cute?
