One Section of My Crafting Room

I was asked by a fellow crafter/CTMH consultant to post a
picture of my craft/scrapbook room.
Maybe this will shame me into
CLEANING
a bunch more.

If you have any suggestions please feel free to leave them in a comment.
I have 2 more sections to my craft room but really have great
problems knowing where to put everything.
Mostly what you see here is my CTMH stamps and my
Imagine work station.
As you can see ----I still got a long ways to go!!!
We will consider this the before picture!

  3. Wow looks like you have a BIG job ahead of you. Getting your things organized will make it a lot easier for you to craft. I also have trouble sometimes deciding where to put things and am constantly trying to organize my room so while I am working I try and make a mental note of the things I use most often and then out them where they are handy. I am handicapped so have issues getting around in my room so having things handy is important.
I have a bunch of JetMax cubes and they help with getting things organized.
    Good luck

    1. I sort of have a little problem when things are on clearance...I want to buy it all.. after all I might need it. Shame that it is, I have two more big sections to my craft room that are just as cluttered. I will get this under control but it will not be over night. Thanks for stopping by!

  7. Hi just a little note to tell you that I saw the picture of your craft room and I haven't stopped laughing! I showed it to my family and they were amazed! It looks just like my room!!!! except for one thing- I hung the ribbons on my windows. And I kept the shade drawn so they wouldn't fade but I had no where else to put them so I could see what I have. Every inch of wall and floor space is taken up and my ceiling has 3 shop lights hanging! Thank you for making me a sister in crafting clutter!!!!!

  8. Love your pix! I am still somewhat like that but it's definitely better now that I have most stuff in my Scraprack. It takes time but it is totally worth it. As a side, my MIL has been telling me for years that it's mentally wearing to have so much clutter. But this is coming from a woman who has no hobbies, keeps no pictures or memorabilia, and is fastidiously neat. So I ignored her. Well, I can admit this now since she will never get a computer or be on Facebook, but she is right. I've accomplished more since I purged and sorted than I have in years. Uh, don't tell her that!

    1. Well, I am taking baby steps. First I am getting rid of the things that I have hung onto for "just in case I might need it". For example, I am finally getting rid of empty boxes. I saved to use for something later. Don't know that I can let go of things that I have bought except for what I am donating to my church. Thanks for visiting my blog and hope to "see" you soon!

  10. You got it!!!! You would be so proud!!! I have taken all of my CTMH stamps and cataloged them on the computer and color coded them. They are in paper boxes right now until I decide where to put them and which ones I am keeping. I'm sure you can whip this room into shape. I didn't want to expose to much of my crafting room just yet. And yes I said more than one paper box. Love you Toooooooo!!!!!

  11. Thank you for your picture post! You helped me show my husband that I am not the only one :) I have a long narrow attic space with 3 large posts in them middle... so finding the right furniture was hard! I ended up going with Cubby desks from Ikea. I have 3 desks... one for my MIL, one for my scrapbooking, and one for my sewing/crafts. I put my CTMH stamps by theme, but just have them in the cases and no good place to put the cases. I have my cardstock by color and I like that system... but my B&T is a mess and I have no idea what to do with those!
I did decided about a year ago to get rid of all the scrapbooking stuff that was not CTMH... I found that I was not using any of it and it was taking up space. So I donated them to a friend.
You have inspired me to do a simular post on my blog... maybe that will help motivate me to get organized as well.

  12. Hiya! Thanks so much for sharing your craftroom link on my blog!! I'm in the same boat as you! It's so overwhelming, eh?

I did a "craftroom" clean-up on my blog. Yours is nowhere as messy as mine. I mainly did it on my blog, to embarrass myself into cleaning it up. It worked!!! Back then, anyways! But now it's looking pretty much the same. I just don't have the room to put my stuff. Time for some more purging!! :-)

  13. Thanks for sharing your space Robin!! It assures me that I am obviously not the only one that is unorganized ... LOL My craft room could be so pretty if I just cleaned it up and got it organized. I have the walls painted in pink and green and have white furniture in it
