Hello and welcome to Michele's first blog hop in honor of her 1st year of blogging! I am so excited to join Michele and the other hoppers in this fun celebration!!!
Michele's Craft Room has an amazing "present" up for grabs ~ all you have to do is visit each of the blogs below, become a follower and leave a comment. A winner will be chosen on Wednesday 1/2/13!
What an awesome "present" Michele is giving away!!! If you have stumbled upon my blog by accident, please click here to start at the beginning.
You should have arrived from An'Jenic's blog.
This is my project to share with you for this blog hop.
This is a snowman hand print of one of my granddaughters.
We painted her hand white with acrylic paint. Had her to hold the bulb in her palm and then press her fingers up around the bulb. Being very careful not to wiggle her hand. She did such a great job!!
The name and year is written with Tulip fabric paint and then I sprinkled Martha Stewart flocking over it and used a hair dryer to dry it a bit.
This is the view from the bottom.
Jennifer decorated the snowmen. We made two. One for Nana and one for the Mommy. :)
This is something that I will cherish for years to come. I will have more to share with you later.
Now you can hop on over to the talented Tabetha!

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute idea for a craft to do with your granddaughter, and to give as a memory for Mom and grandmom. I'm grandma (Gii) to 2-year old Charlotte, and this year her Mom made me a cookie tin with her footprints in green and called them "Mistletoes". So sweet!! Thank you for another "get messy with Gii" project to put on our list.
ReplyDeleteMay the year ahead bring you many crafty adventures. Happy New Year!
Fondly,
Ellen ♥ CardMonkey
