December 100 Cart Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to the 100 cart blog hop, we are so excited to share a ton of projects with you.  If you arrived from Jamie's blog then you are on the right track.

If you just stumbled upon my blog please click here to start at the beginning at

I have several projects to share with you.
My cartridges that I used are:

  1. Paper Doll Dress Up
  2. Speaking of Winter Classmate
  3. From My Kitchen
  4. New Arrival

For my first project I used the Paper Doll Dress Up.  This is one of my favorite carts that I use.

I made a illuminary with my little 3" Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls.  This would be so cute sitting on a fireplace or in a window sill.

For my next project I used the Speaking of Winter.
I used the card feature to cut out some tags. I cut the first one at 3 inches and discovered that it was a little bit bigger than what I thought it would be.  I then cut me 3 more at 2 inches and really liked how they turned out.

I added the cut me some scrap white paper so the snowflake would pop and then put a little bling in the center.

Up next is the cart From My Kitchen...
I cut lil cute gingers at 3/4 " then I adhered them to some old box pieces that I had punched out.
I think that they will make some cute tags for someones present.

Now see if you can find the lil girl ginger.

Last but certainly not least is the cart :
New Arrival

I have so many plans for this cart.  I have a new grand baby as most of you already know and I can't wait to make her a scrapbook.  I have so many ideas bouncing around in my head...
But for now I will share this with you....

Christmas Wish Lists

For Festive Friday we could create a Christmas Wish List.

At Thanksgiving I have always had the tradition that the kids make a Christmas List.
You are allowed to have 10 items on this list.
This made it easier to tell Grandparents and such ideas for what to get.
Helped me a bit too!

Anyway, my daughter, Kaitlyn had a really hard time coming up with 10 items.

She decided to settle on 5 items and then I made a quick scrapbook page for her 5th grade book.

A true crafters daughter...she wanted bling.

The trees are Accessories 3 on the Ms. Claus cut.
They were cut at 5 inches.

The white around the edges is from an old snow writer that I had.  It dries just like puffy paint and makes the trees look like they have snow on them.

Today's theme is F.R.O.G.
Forever Rely On God.

This is something that I do every minute of every day.

I thought about this for a long time and decided that I would make a tag.
This gift tag is for my gift to my Secret/Prayer Sister at Church.
I hope that you enjoy.

I cut the cross out at 3".  Used the shadow and inked each piece.
CTMH paper flower with brad in it.
Love the Cricut Cross cut.

Veteran's Day Blog Hop

Veterans Day originated as “Armistice Day” on Nov. 11, 1919, the first anniversary of the end of World War I. Congress passed a resolution in 1926 for an annual observance, and Nov. 11 became a national holiday beginning in 1938. President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed legislation in 1954 to change the name to Veterans Day as a way to honor those
who served in all American wars. The day honors military veterans with parades and speeches across the nation. A national ceremony takes place at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.

America is the Land of the Free, because of the brave. Veteran’s Day celebrates and acknowledges the service of all United States Military Veterans. Today we honor the brave men and women who have served in the American Military. With great respect, and a heart full of pride, we say a great big THANK YOU to those who have served. Please hop with us as we pay homage to the people who help keep America the Land of the Free.

You should have started at Melissa's Blog. If you did not, please go back and start from the beginning. You don't want to miss any of these fabulous projects!

I am very proud to say that I have had family members to serve in the Military. My father was in the Army, brother - Marines, Uncle Ronnie - Navy,Uncle Willie, and my grandfather was in the Navy also. I am very proud of all of them and thank them and others for their service to our country. I am working on a scrapbook for my dad of his military service. I thought that I would share a tag that I made for his album.

Now please hop on to the very talented Marji Franklin!!
If you get lost along the way I have listed all of the blogs below.
Happy Hopping!!!

One of those things I am thankful for is scrapbooking and all the crafts, supplies and people that go along with it.We have two talented groups of people that want to share projects that all have the word ‘thank’ on them. Today is day two of the hop.  If you missed the first part I will post the line up for day one at the bottom of my page.

In addition to seeing a lot of awesome creations, there is some blog candy available too. If you comment on everyone’s bloghop post you will be entered to win the goodies.
